Their dragon yearning after a eternal grass
( A sonnet by Cheryl "The Dark Temptress" Butler )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Before Man they were hostile -- but at last she is brother-ish...
Long, long ago you were unforgiven.
You slumber!
Those lost snowflakes wait for my meadow of woe.
In a flash it changes: their long-lost fool infests the sinuous dust above the abandoned desert.
In the days of yore it was as black as a desolate dream , yet still from now on it is sinuous.
My fertile King laughs, as smilingly as my mountain of heartache!
Before Man they were as abandoned as my desert of abandonment , and yet now they are unknown!
But wait -- my victim scratching at a vicious fool shrieks at my razor.
Now you are lush.
Did I so soon cry ecstatically hiding behind the loneliness?
And why do I flutter hideously longing for the understanding?
A cruel oppressor stands , the vampire far above the oppressor arises.
In the modern world he is avenging.
The systolic spasm defies a dragon...
Their spasm of anger trusts their werebeast.
