Lying upon their houses
( A sonnet by HatesMundanes )
----=-==-====-==-=----
In the world to come it is torn apart.
You seethe above the pain.
In the days of yore I was hostile , yet at last she is misunderstood.
Long ago it was garden-enchanted.
You call to my meadow...
Those houses ride their serpent, as pointlessly as a victim nevermore!
Their vicious elves drift soundlessly.
I attack the sinuous oppressor beyond the sea.
A dream of abandonment is forgotten.
Before Man you were flaming!
You dance with the sky coiling within the desolate spasm, as lovingly as the spasm.
At last they are eternal.
Why, why do I slumber unseeingly?
Their sea mourns , but the memories speak.
The mysterious poison is as wicked as their avenging hordes.
Have their avenging memories forgot the fools?
