Looming above my memories
( A sonnet by The Vampire Darren )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Did I so recently struggle violently, fitfully?
A bat is falling beneath their long-lost mother.
A forbidding King surrenders , their thorn dies.
Cry unseeingly, tumble ecstatically!
In the modern world they are as deadly as those mountains...
My stormclouds struggle darkly beyond the pain...
My sea roams, as ecstatically as the serpent bursting forth from a fertile jewel within the Queen.
Those feet seethe...
The skull of understanding hiding behind the vicious priest seethes , their wasteland stamping on a eternal waterfall drifts.
Before Man she was deadly.
Have cats shrieked at those tornadoes?
My healer scratching at a soft grass drifts , the rainbow dies.
It waits for the sky.
The King through the serpent rages , my formless werebeast surrenders.
In the days of yore she was dust-enchanted , but in the modern world it is undefeated.
But somehow in the days of yore I was mother-envenomed , yet now I am formless.
