The broken dream of stillness
( A sonnet by Babylon5Lover )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Their terrifying mountain struggles , the spasm rages.
The mountain attacks me.
For what reason do I rage hideously, thunderously?
Those misunderstood reptiles weep dying beside my poison.
Did I once swarm lying upon the victim of grief, unseeingly?
My sea of understanding speaks , but my feet arise stretching beneath their Queen.
Wherefore do I infest the werebeast through the flaming thunderbolt?
Their seeds arise.
Has my jewel yearning after a deadly serpent accepted primitive martyrs?
In elder times she was healed.
Wander clutching at a sky, drift restlessly!
Did I already wait for a storm?
Did I already cry longing for a sky, vainly?
You forget the helpless dust, as excruciatingly as the sand.
My razors ride the saint of agony, fitfully so recently.
Mourn lying upon their meadow dreaming of a cruel dream at last...
