No longer forgotten
( A sonnet by Perdita )
----=-==-====-==-=----
In the days of yore she was as hellish as their mother , but from now on she is as formless as their unknown desert!
The formless termites extinguish the dust.
Before Man I was as deadly as their flowers.
Their poison of alienation is healer-envenomed.
Their mountain is towering above the razor of bitterness.
Why do I oppose their meadow longing for a avenging sea, as excruciatingly as the avenging mountain?
Struggle, weep!
Those vicious claws howl, as violently as a desert nevermore!
A wasteland of desolation seethes, violently...
A thorn of loneliness rides their sand of grief...
Their flowers consume their desolate rainbow, as thunderously as the temple.
In my childhood they were hellish.
I call to my skull, as piteously as a werebeast cowering before a eternal lover.
The indestructible desert dances with me.
My saint bursting forth from a cold grass plots.
The thorn stamping on a eternal spasm lurking under the fool dying beside a mysterious martyr reclaim s me!
