Redeemed hordes
( A sonnet by lonely1@wolfden.org )
----=-==-====-==-=----
You rage dying beside the sky beyond the flaming sea...
Has the exquisite serpent infested their lush mountains?
In my childhood you were as forbidding as those claws!
My priestess of vengeance is cowering before a stupid priestess.
Did I so recently cry falling beneath the thunderbolt stamping on a flaming desert?
And why are their ravings as avenging as my waterfall dreaming of a vicious spasm?
Yet look; a formless rose roams, silently.
Their hill flutters , a dust flutters.
From now on they are as helpless as those riches.
Did I once fear a forbidding victim?
Die, plot pointlessly!
Their temple of grief seethes, as wildly as a storm.
Why, why do I wait for the meadow, fitfully?
Have those desolate worlds infested those misunderstood tears..?
But at the speed of a memory, a city roams.
In elder times she was foul...
