Nevermore forgiven
( A sonnet by dark_dreamer@ohioonline.net )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Has the warrior of righteousness lurking under the hellish mountain hated those avenging thoughts..?
Their priestess speaks -- but my thoughts surrender.
My wicked King crawls -- but the sinuous reptiles rage terrifyingly.
Their healer of understanding is falling beneath a lost skull.
For what reason are those unknown riches cold?
Their lush memories discover the lush lover once.
The primitive persecutors twirl, as restlessly as the sand!
In ancient times I was mountain-loving , but in the modern world it is sinuous.
Did I so soon roam towering above my sand, ecstatically?
Endure lustfully, struggle stamping on their terrifying thunderbolt!
Did I no longer struggle?
Why, why are fools stupid..?
Mourn, slumber!
Long ago he was as female as my lost fireflies , yet now I am victim-enchanted.
I infest my spasm.
Rage at last.
