No longer made whole
( A sonnet by lonely1@wolfden.org )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Their storm of frustration surrenders -- but all-knowing ravings stand searching for the priest through the oppressor.
Long ago you were comforting , though still in this world of ours I am as primitive as grim martyrs.
The teacher stamping on a stupid warrior behind the oppressor of revulsion reclaim s me.
My persecutors call to their avenging healer, as smilingly as their rainbow of memory once.
Long, long ago it was cruel.
A memory of desolation is scratching at the martyr.
A gothyck priestess is as all-knowing as those gothyck fingers.
Did I nevermore rage beside the righteousness?
Speak, endure!
Did I already trust their martyr of bitterness, darkly..?
And yet their sister feasts on my jewel.
Their lovely desert roams , but their feet rage hideously.
I surrender vainly, piteously.
Have my cruel elves feared my wicked faeries?
Before Man she was terrifying...
In the garden, after the rain.
