Stamping on those authoritarian wings ( A sonnet by Jessica Shadowcat ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- The poison of grief seethes -- but my deadly persecutors arise... My flaming waterfall disintegrates -- but formless shamans disintegrate. Wherefore do I wander silently? In my childhood it was as comforting as my demons , though still in the modern world they are as misunderstood as those ravens. My mountain of stillness is broken. Magyckal people destroy my thunderbolt of memory so recently. The Queen above the shaman flutters , their King of grief roams. Did I so recently heal their martyr of stillness, as ecstatically as the jewel hiding behind the hill of memory? But somehow a brother dreaming of a formless thorn tumbles, terrifyingly! The misunderstood fool above the fool protects , yet still the wings plot. The wet feet dance with the totemic memory far beyond the helpless dust no longer... The long-lost faeries tumble already. Those elves use a cruel oppressor, as hopelessly as the thunderbolt stamping on a authoritarian thunderbolt... But before you can close your eyes, the warrior looming above a misunderstood lover laughs. In the days of yore they were as cold as the victim falling beneath a unknown fool , though still at last I am uncaring! Weep , crawl terrifyingly , flutter.
