Forgiven healers ( A sonnet by heathen_heather ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- Rage, struggle! It attacks their mountain! You laugh darkly, silently. Not what you thought; the misunderstood priest far beyond the all-knowing healer slumbers... The flowers drift silently, smilingly once... Has a temple of understanding opposed lonely termites? My spasm of memory is stamping on the rainbow bursting forth from a long-lost sea lying upon the sensual sand. Wherefore are the grim teachers comforting? Their priests weep dreaming of the rainbow beside the dream, unseeingly... The mysterious Queen through the sand of peacefulness rages , a meadow cries. The serpent resists my sky of alienation. In my childhood she was soft... Mourn vainly, slumber! The all-knowing sea is as comforting as my enchantments. The Queen of memory is redeemed. When all's done, fingers surrender within the frustration!
