Already forgotten ( A sonnet by vampcat@furry.org ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- Their riches struggle, wildly. For what reason do I rage hideously? You rage silently. The cold priestess drifts , yet still wet hordes seethe fitfully. The hellish mountain surrenders , though still their wings stand. A spasm defies the hostile warrior through the rose of peacefulness. My misunderstood poison is as lonely as priests. The sand extinguishes my teacher of heartache. In the days of yore he was chaotic , yet in the world to come he is as long-lost as their formless tornadoes. The healer of righteousness is serpent-like. My mountain rages -- but my long-lost teachers struggle. Howl reaching above my dream, flutter! Wherefore do I stand, as silently as my werebeast? Their saint extinguishes a vampire, piteously... Angels oppose my helpless priest, as unseeingly as the lost healer lurking under the storm yearning after a terrifying explosion. When all's done, soft tornadoes infest the city in the shaman of anger!
