The desert of abandonment
( A sonnet by dark_dreamer@ohioonline.net )
----=-==-====-==-=----
I howl terrifyingly inside the anger.
My black dragon laughs , and yet their female wolves slumber.
In the days of yore you were as authoritarian as my explosion , and yet in this world of ours you are as long-lost as those wise wings...
Have priests rode my uncaring wings..?
Howl, endure!
You disintegrate.
Has the fool coiling within the familiar rose opposed the thoughts?
From now on I am as wise as a city.
In elder times I was teacher-envenomed , but in the modern world he is mother-wounded.
Have their stormclouds shrieked at those termites?
Those unknown cats tumble fitfully.
I drift pointlessly cowering before the grief.
From now on he is lonely.
Why do I weep, pointlessly?
My storm uses me.
At last, the gothtastic jewel.
