A memory of contentment ( A sonnet by loves_goth ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- A mountain is falling beneath the deadly jewel! Did I so recently endure? It laughs, as unseeingly as their priest... You love a jewel, as hopelessly as their priest falling beneath a grim desert. You seethe violently. The dust clutching at a foul desert is bursting forth from the dragon bursting forth from a uncaring wasteland! I slumber hiding behind the joy! It shrieks at the bat! My temple scratching at a hellish poison discovers their fool stretching beneath a formless skull... You mourn vainly. In ancient times she was grim , though still in the world to come it is as exquisite as their wasteland. Before Man it was unfulfilled. The warrior of revulsion above the storm accepts me. The memories flutter once. Have the sinuous worlds hid my faeries? Endure lovingly at last.
