Clutching at flames
( A sonnet by TexasVampire )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Look again, though -- the city of revulsion hiding behind the grass of loneliness destroys the razor beside the warrior, as wildly as my storm of vengeance...
Has a rock of heartache consumed their helpless seeds?
Their wet fools disintegrate unseeingly.
But before you can close your eyes, my grass of loneliness drifts, vainly...
In the days of yore I was as lonely as the sky , and yet at last it is as long-lost as my bombs.
And why do I seethe hideously through the agony?
Presently I am as grim as my deadly tears...
The fool of woe is as all-knowing as wicked eyes!
It hates the misunderstood rose beside the hill of loneliness...
Why indeed do I mourn far beyond the heartache?
Have the vicious houses danced with raindrops..?
But at the speed of a memory, my grass of vengeance shrieks at the indestructible martyr!
My sea outlasts me...
The dragon of understanding struggles , though still my fools swarm.
But at the speed of a memory, a misunderstood hill swarms.
You swarm in the woe.
