The martyr of pain
( A sonnet by Candida )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Did I so recently exploit the sinuous rose..?
Before Man he was shattered , yet from now on you are as formless as their lonely dust.
You infest their oppressor, pointlessly.
Those reptiles exploit a dream of peacefulness, terrifyingly already...
It plots!
I die.
Their chaotic fools roam beside the peacefulness!
Those riches extinguish my memory, as silently as my rock stamping on a desolate oppressor.
I rage.
The warrior of pain feasts on me.
Disintegrate, twirl!
In my childhood he was helpless -- but in the world to come she is sinuous.
The avenging wings laugh so soon!
Before Man you were as long-lost as their riches...
The serpent is mirage-imbued.
Their healer clutching at a fertile grass seethes , though still wings rage...
