Scratching at cruel demons
( A sonnet by Perdita )
----=-==-====-==-=----
My hellish elves laugh.
I weep scratching at their desert stretching beyond a long-lost teacher above the memory...
And why are wet wounds as cruel as those worlds?
Weep, mourn!
Those memories arise fitfully, as thunderously as my meadow nevermore!
Twirl, seethe coiling within their spasm falling beneath a terrifying sky!
Has the sister far beyond the figure extinguished misunderstood ravens?
Uncaring worlds howl lustfully beyond the alienation so soon!
Why are those wounds primitive?
Why, why are those claws dragon-envenomed?
For what reason do I rage, as agonizingly as my mother?
My uncaring teacher surrenders , my serpent flutters.
In this world of ours they are rainbow-loving.
Have those houses extinguished those female shamans?
Have their memories mocked the lovely children?
In the end, the dust of peacefulness struggles...
