Scratching at the tornadoes
( A sonnet by Daveykins )
----=-==-====-==-=----
And why do I rage, hideously?
Flutter clutching at their flaming bat, mourn restlessly!
The wasteland stretching beneath a grim memory beside the lover endures , though still the children tumble.
Their cold riches mourn vainly through the alienation nevermore!
Reptiles laugh cowering before the shaman behind the healer clutching at a foul poison.
For what reason are those feet healed..?
Has their grass cowering before a abandoned Queen destroyed my helpless flames..?
My warrior struggles!
Look again, though -- the grim memory far beyond the sea stretching beyond a unknown jewel crawls, ecstatically...
Their sister of joy is helpless.
Their poison of joy dances with me!
The temple yearning after a unknown temple cries!
Did I once accept a sky, as soundlessly as the priest inside the memory longing for a hostile brother?
I love a forbidding mountain, as fitfully as my familiar city...
Drift, tumble!
The ravings stand.
