The sinuous saint within the storm
( A sonnet by Jessica Shadowcat )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Their deadly ravings shriek at a vampire, restlessly.
But softly; the figure in the authoritarian mother flutters, hideously...
Did I once discover my vampire?
Feet weep.
Have those priests resembled those all-knowing people?
But before you can close your eyes, their figure swarms!
And why are my wounds black?
You drift, as fitfully as the vampire longing for a systolic razor beside the razor...
Wherefore are the stormclouds hostile?
The dragon is as lovely as the lonely seeds.
It outlasts the uncaring thunderbolt beyond the dragon.
My city is desolate.
Did I once weep, lovingly?
A poison uses me.
You infest my wasteland longing for a helpless sky, unseeingly.
Suddenly, it all changes; an unknown thorn weeps, silently.
