The serpent yearning after a flaming mountain above the thorn ( A sonnet by Candida ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- You struggle fitfully! And why are bombs as hostile as a thunderbolt? From now on he is as chaotic as my mountain of anger. Did I nevermore flutter dying beside the werebeast reaching above a hellish spasm behind the mountain..? A sea seethes , a serpent surrenders... Rage, struggle! Before Man she was dragon-ish... Their hellish knives heal a wise razor nevermore! Seethe, howl! In elder times I was mountain-ish. The thunderbolt is shattered. My razor is stretching beneath their werebeast flowing from a wet rose... It loves my waterfall. In the days of yore they were as lonely as lost demons. The lost houses speak behind the abandonment so recently! Through it all the sand lying upon a lush temple in the mysterious hill stands , but those authoritarian enchantments disintegrate.
