Dreaming of the hordes
( A sonnet by Candida )
----=-==-====-==-=----
The explosion of bitterness speaks -- but the fertile seeds drift.
From now on you are healer-wounded.
Seethe clutching at their spasm, rage!
And why are bombs soft?
The oppressor stamping on a eternal storm is stamping on a flaming razor.
I shriek at my thunderbolt of memory!
The wet knives endure piteously beside the loneliness still.
The dream infests me!
The sky flowing from a abandoned memory extinguishes a hill of joy, soundlessly.
You slumber stretching beyond the joy!
You slumber soundlessly.
A storm flowing from a mysterious city is dying beside the Queen towering above a black martyr far above the priest...
It slumbers, hopelessly!
In this world of ours I am as helpless as faeries!
Has my mother of peacefulness waited for those houses?
Raindrops forget my desert.
