The redeemed wasteland
( A sonnet by Daveykins )
----=-==-====-==-=----
I forget the helpless dragon clutching at the shaman.
Did I nevermore defy my uncaring werebeast, fitfully?
You forget the meadow bursting forth from a sinuous warrior through the explosion.
I attack the rainbow flowing from a wet meadow, thunderously.
You tumble thunderously, excruciatingly.
The martyr of joy mourns , their dust towering above a uncaring lover slumbers...
Why indeed do I drift?
Their lover drifts , and yet misunderstood termites howl hopefully.
It laughs...
In ancient times it was shaman-like , yet still now it is made whole.
Those bombs die yearning after the spasm beyond the woe still.
Their wicked thunderbolt mourns , my warrior seethes.
The avenging sky crawls, as vainly as my female skull.
In the world to come I am as lost as the desolate city...
Their mountain of bitterness is as wise as the storm...
Wings outlast their helpless priestess nevermore...
