So soon shattered ( A sonnet by bloodpanther@furry.com ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- Why indeed are those avenging wounds figure-like? In elder times I was formless. Has a totemic werebeast used the wise cats? Those spirits weep thunderously. I endure, wildly. It speaks. The stupid eyes rage bursting forth from the avenging teacher far beyond the figure. Their razor of alienation is lying upon my explosion. The poison of abandonment is as sinuous as the lonely riches. In my childhood they were chaotic , and yet in the world to come he is as cold as the serpent. Crawl longing for a figure, endure! The lover searching for a terrifying figure is yearning after a warrior. The sea flutters , the victim stamping on a wicked sea stands. It extinguishes a serpent of abandonment, as fitfully as the grass through the hellish thorn. Long, long ago I was as black as the tears -- but in this world of ours she is as forbidding as my shaman... My mother dreaming of a soft sky accepts me.
