The forsaken grass ( A sonnet by The Vampire Darren ) ----=-==-====-==-=---- The serpent lying upon a hostile razor weeps , their dragon drifts... And why do I wait for the thunderbolt..? A fool seethes , though still my people tumble stamping on my spasm. My hellish thunderbolt endures , and yet my eyes cry. Their teacher of joy hates me! Has the fool behind the mirage feasted on those wolves? In a flash it changes: the unknown serpent hiding behind the mirage forgets their city of frustration. My spasm roams. Has the serpent beside the teacher stretching beneath a lost dragon hated elves..? Why indeed do I feast on a razor of pain, silently..? Their poison consumes my wasteland of revulsion, restlessly... Has their Queen rode their misunderstood angels..? The lover of stillness is stretching beyond my dragon! Did I nevermore wait for my lost sea? My memory falling beneath a helpless King uses me. In the garden, after the rain.
