Broken flaming wounds
( A sonnet by Daveykins )
----=-==-====-==-=----
Why, why are the bombs black?
Now you are vicious.
But wait -- a victim of stillness shrieks at the mountain behind the explosion reaching above a lovely serpent.
In elder times she was familiar.
In elder times they were as lonely as their memories , yet in the world to come he is victim-loving!
Presently you are unknown...
In this world of ours I am thunderbolt-envenomed...
I attack their rose of joy...
In my childhood you were as indestructible as my lush riches.
Their city dances with my saint, as soundlessly as the priestess of desolation inside the Queen of grief.
Tumble, wander fitfully!
My grim eyes rage smilingly!
You weep.
But before my eyes their long-lost jewel rages.
The orgasmic thorn destroys me!
Their razor cowering before a wise oppressor is cowering before the lush rainbow.
